Eventyno Community Guidelines
Document version: 2026-10-04-v2-draft Effective date: 2026-10-04 (draft; becomes effective only when published as final)
Eventyno is for celebrating real moments with real people: birthdays, weddings, graduations, family gatherings, community events. These Guidelines say what we do not allow, how to report it, and what we may do about it. They are part of the Terms of Service. When we say "event page" we mean anything a host publishes, including photos, videos, text, gift lists, and RSVP messages.
Our approach. Most people never need these rules. When something breaks them, we act in proportion to the harm. We move fastest when a child or anyone's safety is at risk.
1. Keep children safe
- No sexual content involving minors, ever. This includes any image, video, text, or link that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a child, and anything that grooms or tries to contact a child for such purposes. We remove it, preserve evidence, and report to the authorities as the law requires.
- Do not expose a child to risk. Do not publish a child's exact home address, school, daily routine, phone number, or other details that make it easier for a stranger to find or contact them. Use a public event only when you are comfortable with anyone seeing it.
- Get a parent's or guardian's permission before posting a child's name, photo, or video, unless you are that child's parent or guardian.
- Do not make or use accounts for children under 13. Parents can create events for their child from their own account. See Parents, Guardians & Minors.
2. Violence, threats, and dangerous activity
Do not post credible threats, incitement to violence, or content that celebrates or supports violence against people or groups. Do not use Eventyno to plan, promote, or organize terrorism, violent extremism, or criminal activity, and do not support people or groups that do. Do not post content that glorifies self-harm or encourages dangerous challenges. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
3. Hate and harassment
Do not attack, demean, or dehumanize people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, disability, serious illness, or age. Do not bully, stalk, intimidate, repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop, or organize others to do so. Do not use RSVPs, comments, follows, or messages to target someone.
4. Sexual content and exploitation
Do not post pornography, sexually explicit content, or sexual solicitation. Do not share intimate images of someone without their consent, or threaten to. Do not use Eventyno for sexual exploitation or trafficking of any person.
5. Fraud, scams, and deceptive events
Do not create fake events, collect money or personal information under false pretenses, post fake or misleading gift links, run deceptive fundraisers, or impersonate a person, business, or organization. An event page must describe a real gathering you are actually organizing. Do not use Eventyno to spread malware, phishing links, or anything designed to steal credentials or compromise a device.
6. Illegal goods and services
Do not sell, offer, or promote illegal drugs, weapons or weapon parts in violation of law, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, regulated goods without the required licenses, or human trafficking. Do not use event pages to arrange any illegal transaction.
7. Privacy and other people's rights
- Do not expose private information. Do not post another person's home address, phone number, government ID number, financial details, medical information, or private messages without their permission ("doxxing").
- Photos, videos, and audio. Only upload photos, videos, or recordings of other people when you have the right and any necessary permission. Do not secretly record or publish private moments.
- Sensitive information. Do not collect or display sensitive personal information about guests, and do not ask guests for more than an event needs.
- Intellectual property. Do not post content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, or other rights. See our Copyright Policy.
8. Honesty, spam, and platform integrity
Do not send spam or unsolicited promotion; create fake accounts, fake RSVPs, or fake engagement; buy or sell followers or attendance; manipulate counts, rankings, or visibility; evade a suspension or restriction; scrape the Service or use bots against it; or try to interfere with the Service's security or normal operation.
9. Events and guests
Hosts are responsible for the safety and legality of their events. Do not host or promote events that are designed to put guests in danger, that break the law, or that discriminate unlawfully in who may attend. Guests should use their own judgment and report events that look deceptive or unsafe.
10. How to report
Every event page has a Report control with reasons including privacy violation, unauthorized photo or video, harassment, fraud or scam, copyright, inappropriate content, impersonation or fake event, threats or illegal activity, and child-safety concerns (including a parent or guardian concern about a child's photo or information). To report a profile, an account, or something the event report does not cover, use the contact details on Safety & Reporting. For copyright, follow the Copyright Policy. If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency services first.
11. What we may do
We review reports and may, in proportion to the situation and at our discretion:
- remove or disable content, an event page, or a profile;
- reduce visibility, for example taking an event off public listings;
- limit features or apply rate limits;
- warn you or ask you to change content;
- suspend or terminate your account;
- preserve content and records as evidence;
- report to the police or other authorities when the law or safety requires it, and cooperate with lawful requests; and
- take no action if something does not break these Guidelines.
We act immediately and without prior warning where needed to protect a child or anyone else, stop threats, exploitation, fraud, or security harm, or follow a legal order. Where practicable and lawful, we tell you what we did and the general reason (for example "child safety," "harassment," "fraud," "copyright," "security," or "legal order"), and how to appeal. We do not always explain in detail where it could put someone at risk or compromise an investigation.
12. Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, write to support@eventyno.com within 30 days and tell us why. We review appeals in good faith. A restriction may stay in place while we review. We are not obliged to reverse a decision.
13. Changes
We may update these Guidelines as the product and risks change. Each version has a version number and effective date, and material changes are announced in the app before they apply.
